This cozy neighborhood diner is just what you need to get your Saturday morning going, the brunch here is phenomenal! I have had nearly every item on the menu and have enjoyed everything. In addition to the great food you will also find great, friendly, and prompt service and a great value proposition as the portions are healthy for what you pay. I religiously get the "beyond the border burrito" and the "veggiezilla quesadilla". Finally, Midtown Grill is a total hidden gem for your classic WI Friday night fish fry!!!

If you do not get the beast burrito you are missing out- that is definitely my favorite on the menu. For the prizes the portion sizes are amazing! I appreciate that they do not take reservations so on the weekends expect to wait a bit, but it is soo worth the wait! Their fish fry is also amazing, unexpected but some of the best we've had in the area.

Have driven by many times and never noticed it. We ate outside (serenaded by a huge contraption tarring a roof across the street). Pleasant service. Typical grill/cafe fare at normal prices. Presentation decent (Wrap, soup, salad), will be back to try a fish fry (Fridays after 4:00 p.m.). Has apparently been around since forever!

This is a small out of the way place that does NOT disappoint. My wife does not like eggs, so it is a challenge to find a breakfast place for her to enjoy. And we found it here. As noted, a small but very comfortable place with outside seating (when weather permits). Nice menu selection, with breakfast combinations and items that are not found everywhere. Great personable service. Once ordered food is delivered quickly.

Another 5-stars as I work ky way through the menu...this time ? Huevos Rancheros and it was amazing. There's yet to be something I've ordered here where I haven't said "this is the best _________ I've had." Service is always great, love the nitro latte as well and my 5yr old said the chocolate chip pancake was almost as good as mine (it's big too!). My fav spot around....

Cute little place that was very busy when we arrived, so we took that as a good sign. We sat at a table outside since it was a gorgeous morning. My guy had the crème brulee french toast which he practically inhaled and he did give me a taste and it was as good as he claimed. :) I selected the make your own omelet option with crispy hash browns. The omelet was so flavorful and really well made so I was happy with my choice. The hash browns were not crispy at all, which my husband pointed out before I even tasted them. All in all though, great service, affordable, clean, appealing vibe, with tasty food!!

Was in the area after an early AM appointment and needing coffee and breakfast, was heading towards NAG, then remembered that I'd been wanting to check out MidTown Grill! Menu looked nice with some standard breakfast items and many just outside of standard. I got Huevos Rancheros and they were really good. Place is smallish, service was okay, and I would definitely return again for breakfast lunch or dinner!

Date of visit: 2/13/23 I have a monthly-ish lunch date with a co-worker and we wanted to hit up somewhere we had not been before that wasn't too far away from the office. She stumbled across this place on Google and decided to take a chance--so glad we did! This is the epitome of hole-in-the-wall diners, from the small seating area with a substantial counter to the open kitchen where you can see much of the food being made, to the unpretentious and respectable coffee being served. And I loved everything about it! They are only open from 8 to 2, which means no early pre-work breakfasts for me, but that's okay. I had the chicken and waffles, and it kept up with some of the heavyweights in the area such as Tupelo Honey and Crafty Cow! It was served simply, no room or time for silly frills here, this is serious eating. I almost--almost!--felt weird snapping a pic of my food, but as they say at Yelp, "my phone eats first." Definitely recommend this place for its great food and service.
